Guangdong Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT)

GTIIT – Guangdong Technion Israel Institute of Technology, which is located in Shantou, Guangdong Province, China, is the outcome of an unprecedented collaboration between China and the Technion in Haifa and the result of a historic partnership between the Technion and the Chinese Shantou University, with the support of the Governor of Guangdong Province, the Municipality of Shantou and the Li Ka-Shing Foundation (LKSF).

GTIIT offers 7 academic programs for undergraduate degrees, which include the following disciplines:

1. Mathematics & Computer Science;
2. Materials Engineering;
3. Chemical Engineering;
4. Mechanical Engineering & Robotics;
5. Biotechnology & Food Engineering; and
6. Chemistry
7. Physics 

GTIIT also offers a diverse selection of programs for advanced degree studies (Master’s and Doctorate studies) which include also; environmental sciences, physics and engineering research groups in collaboration with the Technion.

The university has established 3 brand-new Interdisciplinary Research Centers;

Advanced Theoretical Sciences (ATS)

Guangdong Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) follows the Technion spirit with its vision and mission to create knowledge and to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in China and particularly in Guangdong Province.
