Your role

The successful candidates will join a strong and motivated research team led by Prof. Tegawendé F. Bissyandé and Prof. Jacques Klein and in order to carry out research to pursue a PhD on the following topic: Software Engineering and AI for CyberSecurity

  • Carrying out research in the predefined areas
  • Disseminating results through scientific publications
  • Participating in proposal drafting
  • Collaborating with partners, for instance, with the Belgium Royal Military Academy and the Luxembourg Army Force

Your profile

Qualification:

  • The candidate should possess an MSc degree or equivalent in Computer Science or AI

Experience:

The ideal candidate should have some knowledge and experience in a number of the following topics

  • AI, machine learning, deep learning
  • Software Engineering (e.g., dynamic and/or static analysis, bug localization)
  • Cybersecurity

Skills:

  • Development skills are a plus

Language Skills:

  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of French, German or Luxembourgish is desirable
