Project

The PhD or postdoc reseacher will work on next-generation security testing and vulnerability management techniques that will become a key component in securing connected embedded systems. In particular, the candidate will investigate the potential of hybrid testing by combining methods (like fuzzing, symbolic execution and artificial intelligence) to improve vulnerability detection tools. Moreover, this research will build technologies to prioritize vulnerabilities based on methods to assess rearchability and exploitability, and impact assessment tactics thereby reducing the burden on security testers currently involved in this process.

  • You have a strong interest in security testing and vulnerability management.
