We seek an enthusiastic postdoctoral scientist (f/m/d) for carrying out scientific research on aerosol-climate interactions. The successful candidate will join the Energy Meteorology Group, carrying out fundamental meteorological research for renewable power. The three-year position has a focus on testing hypotheses on dust-aero-sol effects on climate using observations and modeling. It includes the collaboration with the ECMWF in the ESA-funded project: “Dust & Ocean Modelling and Observing Study (DOMOS)” with focus on the North Atlantic.

The position is available as soon as possible on a full-time basis. It is limited to a term of 3 years. If the applicant meets the relevant wage requirements and personal qualifications, the salary is based on remuneration group 13 TV-L of the pay scale for the German public sector.
