Are you passionate about elucidating the role of the gut microbial metabolism on human health? Do you thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment? If so, the Laboratory Digestion and Absorption (DigaLab) at TARGID (Translational Research for Gastrointestinal Disorders) within the Chrometa department invites you to join our team.
The researchers at TARGID perform innovative research, merging basic and translational science to pioneer advancements in gastroenterology and nutrition. The DigaLab focus specifically lies in exploring the intricate interplay between gut microbial metabolism and human health, and in how nutrition influences these dynamics. With metabolomics and stable isotope techniques as corner stones, we are committed to unravel the mechanisms by which our microbes affect our health.
We are currently seeking a talented Postdoctoral Scientist to join our team and contribute to the Europe Horizon project Healthferm. This project investigates the impact of fermented foods and the role of short-chain fatty acids in shaping cardiometabolic health.
