YOUR TASKS
The Flemish Centre of Expertise in Suicide Prevention (VLESP), within the Department of Head and Skin, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, is looking for a scientific employee. VLESP is the partner organization of the Flemish Government regarding suicide prevention in Flanders. An important mission of VLESP is the development and implementation of evidence-based suicide prevention methods. Your tasks consist of data collection, processing and reporting; evaluation of the Flemish Action Plan for Suicide Prevention; policy support and advice with regard to prevention methods.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You have a degree of Master in Criminological Sciences
- You have experience with data collection, processing and reporting
- You have knowledge of evidence-based prevention methods, preferably in suicide prevention
- You can work well independently, as well as in a team.
- Previous experience with research into suicidal behavior and its prevention is recommended
