Job Description

The main activity of this position consists in supporting the University’s researchers in finding suitable funding opportunities for research as well as in preparing competitive project proposals and in participating in international networks and partnerships. This professional will support researchers in the drafting of project proposals, especially the sections on “Impact” and “Implementation”, within regional, national and international calls (in particular Horizon-Europe and Joint-Projects of the Provincia autonoma of Bolzano – Alto Adige), hereby helping researchers in turning their ideas into sound and competitive project proposals.

Admission Requirements

• Master’s degree or four-year degree in accordance with the old system or equivalent foreign qualification
• professional experience of at least 2 years in the field of research funding or in scientific research at universities or research centres; experience in proposal writing and/or evaluation of research proposals

Specific knowledge and skills

• knowledge of the most relevant European and national research funding programs
• knowledge of oral and written English at least at C1 level
• knowledge of the Italian and/or German language at least at B2 level
• very good communication and organisational skills
• ability to work independently and per objectives
• ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines

The oral examination will take place on 26/06/2023, preferably in presence (and if necessary also on 27/06/2023). If it is not possible to hold the interviews in presence, they will be held by video conference (via MS Teams). For this purpose, candidates must guarantee the availability of a PC/laptop with a video camera and a good and stable internet connection.
