This position will report directly to the Dean of the College of Pharmacy

Job description, duties, and responsibilities:

• Set up equipment and material for pharmacy lab courses, as per faculty and lab instructor’s instructions.
• Set up equipment and materials for the lab sessions.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of lab inventory of equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Arrange purchase orders for lab materials and supplies, and lab budget.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of all lab protocols and procedures, and safety rules.
• Assist in research activities at the college.
• Attend technical and lab safety trainings as deemed necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Pharmacy or Biomedical sciences related domain from a reputable college/university.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a lab/hospital/college/university setting.
• Experience in working with animals will be highly considered.
• Familiarity with lab safety rules and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work and coordinate with faculty and other lab instructors as member of a team.
• Ability to interact effectively with students, supervise and guide them in the lab.
• Strong computer skills, English communication skills, and good time management skills.
