Post-doc in Econometrics
The position will start in February 2017 or later. The successful candidate will work at the intersection between microeconometrics and machine learning. She/he will be part of a research team that develops and applies newly available methods for data-rich empirical analyses, for example, in labour, health, and sports economics. Professor Michael Lechner leads this research team.
In addition to an excellent PhD degree in economics, statistics, or a related field, strong quantitative and programming skills are important. Furthermore, the candidate’s research interests should be in micro-econometrics (incl. Big Data and machine learning), sports economics, labour economics, or similar fields.
